Agility is one of the fastest growing dog training sports in the country which consists of a handler directing a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy.

Brain Games: Cues, Cones & Cavalettis
Take your dog’s training to the next level with four weeks of fun, focused exercises designed to build body awareness, handler communication, problem-solving, and engagement.
Using cavalettis, cones, directional cues, distance work, and creative patterns, dogs will learn to think through challenges while developing focus and confidence. Exercises can be adjusted for different skill levels, making this class a great fit for competition dogs, dogs preparing for performance sports, or any dog who enjoys learning something new.
Brain Games: Spin, Twist & Weave
Get moving with a fun, skill-focused class built around spins, circles, weaves, and creative movement patterns! Dogs will learn to follow body language and verbal cues while developing coordination, focus, flexibility, and confidence.
This class is a great way to introduce new tricks and movement skills, strengthen your dog’s ability to work with you, and provide plenty of mental and physical engagement. Whether you have a competition dog or simply enjoy teaching your dog new things, you’ll both have fun learning and building new skills together.

Every breed has a standard of how they should look, move, and even act. Here at Under the Sun we want to help you not only learn about your breed standard, but also the rules and procedures of an AKC dog show. Most importantly how to present your dog to the best of your ability. We will teach you to be a great frame for your beautiful picture of the dog!
We will introduce and teach you the following: how to stack, free stack, and gait your dog in addition to the fundamentals and techniques of coat care to give you the best chance to achieve your goals.

Flyball is a relay race on a team where a group of four dogs and their handlers compete against another team. The race consists of four dogs, in succession, who will jump over four hurdles, complete swimmer’s turn on a contraption we call a Box which releases a ball. Then the dog will catch the ball and run back over the jumps to their handler and pass the next dog. The first team to complete the race without making a mistake AND in the fastest time WINS! Small, large, fast, slow, pure-breed or mixed breed, this is a sport for all.
All breeds are welcome.
Fun, non-competitive and competitive format
Group Class
6 weeks/1 session per week- $220
Rally-O is a highly motivational obedience class which is enjoyed by both you and your dog! Hand and voice commands as well as body language are all encouraged in this fun sport. Rally-O is a sport in which you and your dog complete a course of designated stations (10-20 depending on the level). This drop-in class is for dogs and handlers with previous Rally Freestyle experience who want practice time and opportunities to run through courses and routines in a group setting.

Build a faster, happier, and more reliable recall through fun games that make coming back to you worth it! This four-week class focuses on engagement, responsiveness, impulse control, and building strong habits around coming when called.
Dogs will practice a variety of recall games, including the Crate Game, to develop focus and reliability in different situations. These exercises are designed to make training fun while giving handlers practical tools they can continue using at home and in everyday life.

Scent work is a fun and engaging sport where dog and handler are challenged to find specific odors in a variety of different hides for titles and ribbons. Intro students will learn how to build a drive to find odor and a consistent and clear alert through the Trained Final Response technique.

If you and your dog are looking for the chance to help others and be available to visit with others, this is the class for you.
This six week course prepares the student and their dog for the Pet Partners examination for the purpose of visitations to hospitals, nursing homes and facilities or any place where therapy dogs are needed.
At the end of the six week course, an evaluation will be arranged with a Pet Partner Evaluator at another location.
