DOG POOL RULES & SAFETY POLICY

GENERAL FACILITY and POOL RULES

• Pool dimensions: 50 ft. x 20 ft.; water depth is 4 ft.
• NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY — use of the pool facility is voluntary and at the owner’s sole risk.
• All pool sessions are by appointment only.
• All guests must check in at the facility front office before entry.
• Signed releases and acknowledgment of policies are required before access to the pool area.
• UTS reserves the right to refuse or terminate services for unsafe, aggressive, disruptive, or non-compliant dogs or individuals.
• UTS reserves the right to close the pool at any time due to inclement weather, lightning, maintenance, or safety concerns.
• While reasonable precautions are taken, UTS cannot guarantee the safety of dogs or persons using the facility.

SAFETY RULES

• No person under the age of 13 is permitted on the dock without a parent or legal guardian present.
• Dogs ONLY in the pool.
• No person may enter the pool ramp or pool at any time except authorized UTS staff members.
• Pool surfaces may be wet and slippery; use caution at all times.
• Running, horseplay, or throwing dogs into the pool is strictly prohibited.
• Pool gates must remain closed at all times.
• Please notify staff immediately of any pool maintenance or safety concerns.
• If lightning is detected within 10 miles, the pool will close immediately, and all guests must vacate the area. If lightning is visible, vacate the pool immediately.
• Following a lightning closure, the pool will remain closed for a minimum of 15 minutes. Affected reservations will be rescheduled and will not be extended beyond the scheduled time block.

DOG HEALTH & BEHAVIOR REQUIREMENTS

• Proof of current Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella vaccinations is required for all dogs.
• Dogs must be in good health and free of coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, open wounds, contagious conditions, fleas, ticks, or parasites.
• Dogs should not be fed within three (3) hours of their scheduled swim session.
• Please potty dogs before entering the pool area.
• Dogs displaying aggressive behavior must be removed immediately.
• DOGS MUST NEVER BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE POOL AREA.

OWNER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Owners/handlers are solely responsible for the supervision and control of their dog(s) at all times.
• Owners are financially responsible for any injury, loss, or property damage caused by their dog(s).
• Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the pool area.
• Leashes and collars are prohibited in the pool UNLESS handled by UTS staff.
• Guests must vacate the pool area promptly at the conclusion of their reserved session time.
• Guests are responsible for cleaning the pool area before departure.

FOOD & PERSONAL ITEMS

• No food, beverages, or treats are permitted in the pool area.

EMERGENCY & MEDIA POLICY

• In the event of an emergency, UTS may seek medical treatment for individuals and dogs.
• UTS may photograph or video activities on the premises for training or promotional purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
