Under the Sun Puppy School sponsored by Purina Pro Plan is a four week early start positive training program for puppies.

Puppyhood can sometimes be challenging but we can help!

This 2 day a week program will immerse your puppy in critical behavioral, social, and developmental opportunities that when introduced at the right time can create positive steppingstones to a well behaved and social dog.

Puppy School
10-24 week old puppies.

Puppy School includes daily individual training sessions, socialization and playtime, crate training and nap time, leash walking, and fun confidence building activities and while introducing basic training skills and manners at the perfect time while your puppy is developing physically and cognitively.

Puppy School
(new structure and pricing 1/13/25)
10-24 week old puppies.
Must have all required vaccinations.

Price: $1495.00 for 4 weeks.
Additional 2 weeks: $747.50

Includes

  • 2 days per week: Tuesday and Thursday (days are subject to change)
  • 4 consecutive weeks
  • 2 – 15 Minute Private Training Sessions per day
  • 3 Socialization/Activity/Group Play Sessions per day
  • 2 – 30 Minute Private Parent/Teacher Conference Lessons scheduled based on availability
  • Drop Off between 8am-8:30am
  • Pick Up between 4pm-5pm

Introduction to Basic Training Skills
This is an introduction to basic training skills, not mastery of skills.

Socialization and Activities

  • Monitored Group Playtime in size appropriate daycare yard
  • Socialization with evaluated and safe older adult dogs if available
  • Socialization with humans, including exposure to human handling for veterinary appointments, etc
  • Activities such as tunnels, ball pit, puppy pools, puzzles and much more!

Requirements:
Puppy School Consultation and Temperament Evaluation required.

Puppies 10-16 weeks: Vaccination Requirements: 2 rounds of DHPP

Puppies 16-24 weeks: Vaccination Requirements: 3 rounds of DHPP, Current Rabies, Current Bordetella (kennel cough), and Current Influenza (recommended)

Please start Crate Training with your puppy immediately.
Crates are used for rest time during the day.
Puppies need to rest throughout the day to get the most out of the program. If your puppy is exhibiting separation anxiety, please let us know so we can see if this is the best program for you.

A daily health check is performed each day.
Puppies must be illness free and have no signs of vomiting, diarrhea, open wounds, runny eyes, nasal discharge, fever, and/or cough for 14 days prior to returning.
