I have worked at Under the Sun for over 6 years now! The start of my passion for training happened by watching and working under Colton Johnson, as well as a few other amazing professionals through Sunrise. Here I managed a 15-hour work schedule while working in the front office. Every free moment that I found I spent training and learning more about my passion! I was able to further observe dogs’ personalities and manners all while learning to love and grasp how to effectively communicate their language. 

The first dog I got to change the life of was my soul dog, Oso. He was a chihuahua mix that had some reactivity. He was a rescue that I ended up with in my lap somehow, but I wouldn’t have changed it for the world! We were able to not only work through this together but thrive in therapy and service work afterwards! He was and is the reason I became a dog trainer, to change their lives in a better and more enjoyable way… to thrive the way my Oso was able to after our work together!!!

Every step of the way, from learning to teaching, I will not only be there for you, but also your best friend as I truly understand what it means to want better for dogs and their lives! With my experience I will and can help you focus on your and their needs- anywhere from basic obedience to common behavioral issues! Every dog is unique, and my methods are based on a balanced approach that is tailored to what you seek! My knowledge and eagerness to learn helps me work with you to create the best starting point for you and your dog to get the results you are looking for! Can’t wait to meet you and begin the journey to training for better lives!
